All right, no more teasing. All of these pictures and video were taken with my iPotato and about half way through I was thinking "I wish I had brought my GoPro." Forgive me if I get any details about any of the cars wrong. I'll make updates if there is anything that requires correction.
Above was probably my favorite car at the show and as you'll see there were some good ones. The guy and his (I assume) wife seem like they've got their act together when it comes to owning a Morgan 3 Wheeler.
Awesome car and quite an outfit.
DeTomaso Pantera. This car was BEAUTIFUL!
ooohhh.... gated shifter....
This Chevelle was badass.
And had a badass motor to boot! That intake manifold is more than just fancy carbon fiber, it adds a considerable amount of power over stock and pretty much blows everything else out of the water.
Roush Mustang, represent. Sad that this car (4.6L Modular) with a supercharger puts out very similar power to the new 5.0L Boss.
Gotta love a 7.0L Small Block.
I was thinking of $kaycog when I took this pic. Plus, I don't fucking blame her; GTs are beautiful pieces of driving art that can be driven like cars were meant to be driven.
This was almost the teaser. I overheard some people referring to this car as "the one that that Fast and Furious guy died in." Shame... the ignorance of people.
What the...? Pretty much the reaction of most people to this. I loved it. It makes me want to bring the Racescort to one of these.
Damn, potato messing up the shot of one of my all time favorite classics, 69 Mustang Boss 302. I may still have an erection.
Just cool.
This one was for former Jalopnik author Sam Smith.
I loved this coat of arms.
This actually happens to be my buddy's real estate agent. Who is totally cool btw.
I didn't follow her home, we just happened to be driving the same way for a while.
Of course there were Ferraris. Don't mind Dan, we were getting all auto geeked since we could look at high dollar cars up close. Let me tell you, if you were complaining about exposed fasteners on the Corvette, it's got nothing on Ferraris and Lamborghinis IMO. Someone will accuse me of being tasteless or something but frankly, the way the exposed fasteners were handled on the Corvette, which has exemplary build quality by the way, was handled appropriately since it was clearly a design compromise.
Cool steering wheel though.
Porsche
Hmm, 2JZ
A bunch of aftermarket shit, not too bad though. 435i.
Arooo...
Have I mentioned that I love Corvettes yet? I do. And seriously, anyone who hasn't seen a C7 in the flesh, they are gorgeous and don't photograph for shit. Seriously a stunning vehicle.
I didn't know they changed the headlights. Still awesome.
Hey, Aventador. One of my favorite Lambos. If you thought the exposed fasteners were bad on the C7, take a look at the inside of the door of an Aventador, the part where the door meets the sill. I would be pissed if I had to look at that every time I opened the door of my (how much are they?) $500,000 car.
And yeah, I'd wax that too.
Engine, why not?
And a video for good measure.

Thank you for posting! I am one of the people that runs the event, it makes me very happy to read posts like this. I felt like this morning was a "line in the sand" moment that we are finally done with that god-forsaken winter. Cheers, see you next month!
PS did you happen to catch the 51,000 mile F40 in the side lot?

Suddenly this is the most badass modern Shelby I have ever seen.

The dude in the black aventador loves revving his car. I don't mind! It is awesome!

I MISSED AN F40? NNNNOOOOOOO!!!!!
Seriously though, you couldn't have picked a better day. Weather was beautiful, you have a great event, I'm going to try to have one of my projects ready for the next one.

Do we live in the same area?

During the summer yes! I live about 30 minutes from Chicago, so I go to the Supercar Saturday for the most part.

Right on! I'll post again. To let you know who to look for. I'm going to try to have one of my bikes or the Racescort ready for the next one of these.

Great set of photos! I would have gone but I'm still in school for another week. Also, that blue Super Snake is my ex-gf dad's. 843whp on one tune a 995 on the other. Thing was a beast.
